Dance is the hidden language of the soul. The body says what words cannot.

Nothing is impossible if you are willing to do the work.

It's been a while since I blogged. Well, as usual, I have been busy with work at MDC.

Recently I began to feel really quite shitty about my dancing. I have injuries at my lower back and left tendon. No matter how hard I tried to take care of them, the pain just don't go away. I have problems stretching and dancing. Things I could do relatively well last time, now became a challenge to me.

Then I started thinking that Im too lazy and untalented as a dancer. Making me very not motivated to go to work. I keep on being pessimistic and tell myself that I sucks.

To the extent that I want to quit dancing and do something else.

Im on mc for 2 days and while lying down on my bed doing nothing, I picked up my "DANCE" magazine and read.

This line popped out of the magazine and stick to my head - "Nothing is impossible if you are willing to do the work."

I realised that I have just been giving myself excuses.

So what if I got injuries? So what if im not gifted as a dancer? So what if Im not as good as others?

I have to look beyond my handicaps and start looking at what I can do.

Am i still willing to dance? Without any doubt, it's a big "YES"!

Time to stop giving myself excuses and do something.
